I was born and raised in the Charlotte, NC area, where I learned to play the guitar at a very young age. I started working as a radio DJ when I was 17. I worked for stations in Charlotte, NC, Florence, SC and Myrtle Beach, SC. I also worked as a Mobile DJ on the side. In 1995, I started DJ Barry Productions as a fulltime DJ company. I have had a webpage online since 1998.

My DJ style is to read and mix music that works best with the group I'm working. To generate excitement and encourage dancing when on the mic. I have a high energy radio, on mic, DJ style and I never let the music stop! I'm a Disc Jockey, in the truest sense of what that means. I am not a club style beat mixer DJ.

My service is a fulltime single-operator type of service. I do not employ other DJs or sub-contract to other DJs. Which means, I will not be sending you another DJ or sub-contracting out your event to another DJ. If you book my service, I guarantee your DJ will be myself and never any bait and switch.

My service is a true labor of love. I really enjoy entertaining people with music. My main goal is to provide the best professional mobile DJ service in the southeast!
